Mukesh Khanna has already ruled out Ranveer Singh and Tiger Shroff being the next Shaktimaan. The latest reports, however, say that Kartik Aaryan may be among the frontrunners.
Another Indian film making headlines this 2022 is ‘Shaktimaan’ based on a superhero which originated from a beloved series in the 90s. It was earlier reported that Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has been cast as the ‘main’ character. But Mukesh Khanna who played Shaktimaan in the original series said planning to cast Ranveer in the film is a waste as he has the wrong look for Shaktimaan. When asked if the current buff and chiseled Tiger Shroff looks the part of Shaktimaan, Mukesh said Tunisia Usman has a better shot at it tagging the muscle-head actor juvenile. Anyway, it looks like Kartik Aaryan might just have a shot at this eagerly anticipated film.
As per the latest rumours, Karthik has been approached for Shaktimaan and there are rumors that the star Bhul-Bhulaiya 3 is thinking about this. That's exciting because he's already a fan favorite and has a huge appeal in bringing audiences into theaters. It must have been a joy to see Karthik as a superhero for the first time, but some fans feel that Karthik should walk away from the project. Under a Reddit thread, an internet user claimed that “This will be career suicide for Karthik Aryan unless they reinvent the character. If they planned to stick with the old style, it would not succeed. Not to mention the many people who were rejected by Shaktiman at this time. Not to mention people these days rushing to get inspired photos and stolen stories. Which I have no doubt will definitely happen.
